“My Forest Armenia” Environmental Non-Governmental Organization

“My Forest Armenia” Environmental Non-Governmental Organization was established in 2019 with the aim of increasing forest-covered areas in Armenia, restoring forests, and addressing environmental challenges.

The organization implements reforestation and afforestation projects in different regions of Armenia, cooperating with scientists, forestry specialists, local communities, and partner organizations. Its activities include seedling cultivation, establishment of new forests, maintenance of forest areas, and long-term conservation, emphasizing not only tree planting but also the sustainability of newly created forests and the development of natural ecosystems.

“My Forest Armenia” applies an approach based on the use of native tree and shrub species, contributing to biodiversity restoration and the conservation of natural habitats. Within the framework of its forest restoration programs, the organization also engages residents of nearby rural communities, creating employment opportunities and contributing to socio-economic development of communities.

As a member organization of the Forest Alliance of Armenia, “My Forest Armenia” is engaged in collaborative efforts aimed at forest restoration, conservation of natural ecosystems, and promotion of sustainable forest management approaches in Armenia.
