Armenia Tree Project

Armenia Tree Project (ATP) Charitable Foundation

Armenia Tree Project (ATP) Charitable Foundation was established in 1994 with the aim of supporting forest and green space restoration in Armenia, environmental protection, and community development. The organization’s work is based on the idea of using trees as a means to promote environmental, social, and economic sustainability.

ATP implements tree planting and reforestation programs in different regions of Armenia, develops and operates tree nurseries, carries out community greening initiatives, and supports the care and maintenance of planted trees. The organization also implements environmental education programs engaging students, teachers, and community members.

The organization’s approach is based on the principles of conserving native ecosystems, supporting self-sufficient communities, and promoting long-term sustainability. ATP emphasizes not only tree planting, but also the cultivation of healthy planting materials, maintenance of planted trees, environmental education, and building a sustainable connection between people and nature.

As a member organization of the Forest Alliance of Armenia, Armenia Tree Project is engaged in collaborative efforts focused on forest restoration, conservation of green spaces, environmental education, and sustainable forest management in Armenia.
